    Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games announces marketing and creative framework

    GRAYLING, PITCH and Gung Ho are the PR agencies pitching to handle the marketing and creative for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games across the next two years. The agencies have the chance to sign up 10,000 volunteers, design medals, and drive ticket sales. There will also be a campaign around the Queen’s Baton Relay, which will travel around the Commonwealth. The agencies must bid for individual elements of the work. The games has also hired MCCANN CENTRAL for design and creative services, Outdoor Places Unusual Spaces (OPUS), TBA Group and DRPG for events, Rainbow Productions for Mascot design and production, BMG Research for consumer insights and polling, and Goodform for CRM. MEDIACOM BIRMINGHAM will deliver media planning services from the CROWN COMMERCIAL SERVICES (CCS) Communication Services Framework.

    Channel 4 announces Formula 1 2020 coverage sponsors

    CHANNEL FOUR has announced that VERTU MOTORS brands Bristol Street Motors and Macklin Motors will sponsor its coverage of the 2020 FORMULA ONE season. The brands will sponsor Channel 4's coverage which includes live broadcast of the British Grand Prix and highlights of all Formula 1 races throughout the season. MEDIACOM NORTH brokered the deal.
