    American Express to host on-site activation for Wimbledon fans

    AMERICAN EXPRESS will be hosting a variety of fan experiences at Wimbledon, including a member's lounge and other cardholder benefits. The experience will be open from the 1-14 July in partnership with the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. Visitors will be able to practise their tennis skills alongside brand ambassador Andy Murray, with a virtual-reality challenge. American Express customers are also able to receive other benefits such as exclusive cocktails and a bespoke seating area.The brand will also be running a campaign comprising social, out-of-home and TV activity. Championing the unsung heroes of the tournament, the creative carries the strapline: "Don’t Wimbledon without it." DIGITAS, MCGARRYBOWEN and UM have all worked on the campaign. MOMENTUM WORLDWIDE is delivering the fan experience and members' lounge.
