    KFC turns to Hollywood for cinema campaign

    KFC has launched a new campaign that includes five 90-second films of specially curated content based around highly anticipated films launching in 2019. The cinema campaign draws on its recent ad 'Chicken Town', which sees various chicken shops imitating KFC. The spots run the Chicken Town ad for the first 60 seconds, followed by creative that mimics the upcoming film. It then reveals that the movie hasn't started and its still an ad for KFC; once again showing how you cannot compete with an original. The campaign, created by BLUE 449 in partnership with DIGITAL CINEMA MEDIA, SPP Media and RECIPE, will break in the second half of the year.
