    Maltesers launches Buttons brand extension with digital campaign

    MALTESERS is supporting the launch of its new Buttons offering with a £1.3m campaign created by AMV BBDO. It includes a 20-second spot which sees a couple of co-workers patronised by their senior for running one-minute over their lunchtime. The pair then utilise Maltesers buttons to mock the boss' expensive watch and glasses. The work is designed to appeal to a younger demographic and will run on FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE and INSTAGRAM, including videos and gifs in a similar vein to the outlined spot. MEDIACOM and ZENITH handled media planning and buying for the campaign respectively. Later this year, the brand will kick off a second campaign for its new Truffles variant.
