    New Balance aims to avoid tournament ‘hype’ in World Cup debut

    NEW BALANCE has launched its World Cup campaign which aims to avoid the tournament hype and focus on social engagement and Russian football culture. Going up against the likes of NIKE and ADIDAS in its World Cup debut, the brand has released a four-part series featuring a team of YouTubers travelling around different Russian towns playing football and interacting with fans and locals. The 'Make it to Moscow' work, created by ZAK, follows on from the brand's release of a limited edition Russian-inspired football and lifestyle collection, the 'Otruska Pack', in May.
