Lidl appoints retained social media agency
LIDL has selected WE ARE SOCIAL to manage its social media marketing, influencer marketing and community management following a pitch. The agency has been tasked with defining Lidl's overarching social media and community management communications strategy, handling all influencer marketing activity, developing social media content for the supermarket's social media channels and work with Lidl's agency partners on key campaigns.

Animal Crossing: #GlobalPrideCrossing by We Are Social
WE ARE SOCIAL has created a #GlobalPrideCrossing campaign for Animal Crossing. The popular video game will feature a Prime-themed island which serves as a safe space for people of any gender, orientation, colour or ethnicity from anywhere in the world to celebrate this year's Pride. Equally, it will provide a platform to empower individuals to learn, express their identity and connect with others. #GlobalPrideCrossing will also support the Black Lives Matter movement in a number of ways, including resharing BLM-related content. In the two weeks post-launch, Animal Crossing players will be provided inspiration to host their own Pride parades through the specially-built Pride island.
