    AB InBev demands 'punishing payment terms' in upcoming global media review

    AB INBEV is to put its global media business up for review. In a document obtained by Campaign US sent to consultants pitching to manage the RFP, the beer brewer stated that the new contract is expected to be signed by September 2020. A consultant familiar with the brief said, 'the pitch will require agencies to guarantee future media buying guarantees by participating in an online reverse auction, which makes agencies undercut each other to unrealistic prices'. It has been suggested that agencies may come together to reject the terms of the business. AB InBev has said it will explain the "false or misleading speculation" around its review next week. VIZEUM currently handles its media in Europe, Africa and North America.
