Uber says forget London, it’s all Power To The North
UBER has created a new campaign to convince advertisers that the best agency talent comes from the north. It aims to address London-centric misconceptions when it comes to choosing agencies. The short film sees a client try to sneak off to London because they 'do things proper', despite being happy with the creative, strategy and service he currently receives from his Sheffield-based agency. The ad will appear in train stations and at marketing & advertising events held in London.

Über acquires South Yorkshire rival
UBER has purchased rival agency Public Image. All 8 members of staff from its new acquisition will join Uber's Sheffield office. Public Image managing director Paul Green will remain at the agency after the merger. Uber's billings will increase by up to 40% as a result of the acquisition.
