Lidl launches 'upgraded Christmas' ad campaign
LIDL's Christmas campaign shows how consumers can add special touches to their Christmas by buying from its Christmas range. 'Upgraded Christmas' is a series of humorous 20-second spots which see people making their Christmas extra special through buying Lidl gin, turkey or finger food, but at the same time treating themselves to impractical extras such as a 75 foot Canadian tree, North Pole snow, and a 16-piece orchestra. The work, created by TBWA/LONDON, will run during ITV's Coronation Street and X Factor, and CHANNEL FOUR's Gogglebox.

Four agencies battle it out for Lidl advertising business
LIDL has announced that KARMARAMA, LEO BURNETT, VCCP and WCRS will be the agencies battling for its £70m advertising account. The review was announced in August and pitches will take place in the first week of December. AAR is handling the process. Karmarama previously worked with ICELAND but split from the supermarket earlier this year. TBWA\LONDON was Lidl's previous agency.
