    Monzo clashes with Halifax bank over 'embarrassing' app design likeness

    HALIFAX's rebrand has been criticised by digital rival Monzo after its chief executive pointed out that the app rebrand featured items from Monzo's decks. Monzo CEO Tom Blomfield tweeted Halifax to say the card in the photo on Halifax's app displays the same Monzo BIN number and the name of one of its members of staff. The work was outsourced by Halifax to brand experience agency RUFUS LEONARD. It said it was embarrassed that an early and rejected proposal design was used and a new one will be coming soon.
