    Publicis London, Poke and Arc merge into single integrated agency

    PUBLICIS LONDON, POKE and ARC are merging to form an integrated agency Publicis.Poke. The agencies will be based at 82 Baker Street and restructured internally to deliver an 'audience-centric' service offering a wide range of disciplines to new and existing clients. Publicis Worldwide UK's chief executive Nick Farnhill will lead the merged entity supported by managing director Trent Patterson, whilst Dave Monk has been appointed executive creative director and Nicolas Roope appointed creative chair.  All three will report to Farnhill. Sol Ghafoor has been named head of strategy at Publicis.Poke.

    National Citizen Service picks Karmarama for ad account

    THE NATIONAL CITIZEN SERVICE has handed KARMARAMA its advertising account following a competitive pitch against ABOVE&BEYOND, POKE, THE&PARTNERSHIP, VCCP and Wonderhood Studios, which took place at the end of April. Karmarama will launch a new brand identity and an integrated traditional media and digital campaign designed to appeal to young people later this year. The business was previously held by OGILVY, and is worth around £1m annually over four years.
