Sainsbury's takes on John Lewis in accidental battle of the school plays
SAINSBURY'S has given fellow retailer JOHN LEWIS a run for its money with its new Christmas ad. The spot depicts excited parents watching their children perform in a primary school play, singing 90s pop song 'You Get What You Give'. WIEDEN & KENNEDY created the ad which debuted on ITV. The campaign will also feature product-led TV ads and radio, digital, print, social and out-of-home advertising. PHD handled media.

PHD has appointed Sherrick Chavda as global digital director. He joins from CARAT. PHD has also hired Sara Rodas Silva as media group manager, joining from BLUE 449 and promoted Charlotte Ullah to the role of media director.
