    Ogilvy to handle PR for Cricket World Cup 2019 as campaigning begins

    OGILVY UK has been announced as the agency to handle PR for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Ogilvy has been tasked with driving engagement and awareness of the tournament with a new non-cricket audience, including a PR campaign for a beginner's guide to the Cricket World Cup. Other agencies appointed include THREEPIPE (media buying), Matta (creative), Ear to the Ground and Red Sky at Night (activation), Goat (influencer marketing) and Twelfthman (art-working). TICKETMASTER will handle ticketing for the tournament. The Cricket World Cup takes place in England and Wales from 30 May to 14 July 2019.

    'Goodbye Mather': Ogilvy announces sweeping rebrand and organizational renovation

    OGILVY has finalised its dramatic rebrand and restructure. The agency network announced that OGILVY PR, OGILVYONE and Ogilvy & Mather have been consolidated into a single brand to cater to the growing demand for integrated marketing solutions. A new discipline structure has also been introduced, with 12 'crafts' including brand strategy, digital transformation, and partnerships, and a consulting practice, Ogilvy Consulting, has been established alongside a global digital platform called Connect. The Ogilvy website and logo have also been updated.
