TK Maxx's Christmas campaign sends shoppers on Europe-wide search for never-ending stockings
TK MAXX is hiding special 'never-ending' stockings around its stores, giving shoppers the chance to win a year's worth of gifts. The retailer is raising awareness of this initiative with a 90-second spot, created by WIEDEN & KENNEDY, which sees a lovable, giant, 'snake-like' stocking take up residence in a family's home and spit out gifts as different points throughout the year. The ad is narrated by Bill Nighy, who also voiced last year's Christmas ad which saw the retailer deliver artificial snow to those who found lucky snow globes in its stores. The 'Ridiculous possibilities' campaign will run in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Poland, Austria and the Netherlands. MINDSHARE oversaw media planning and buying, OGILVY is handling PR and influencer activity, and Undercurrent is looking after experiential.

Ogilvy to handle PR for Cricket World Cup 2019 as campaigning begins
OGILVY UK has been announced as the agency to handle PR for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. Ogilvy has been tasked with driving engagement and awareness of the tournament with a new non-cricket audience, including a PR campaign for a beginner's guide to the Cricket World Cup. Other agencies appointed include THREEPIPE (media buying), Matta (creative), Ear to the Ground and Red Sky at Night (activation), Goat (influencer marketing) and Twelfthman (art-working). TICKETMASTER will handle ticketing for the tournament. The Cricket World Cup takes place in England and Wales from 30 May to 14 July 2019.
