    Unilever appoints BBD Perfect Storm to global Dove Men+Care brief

    UNILEVER has hired BBD Perfect Storm to develop the global proposition for male grooming brand Dove Men+Care. The account is currently handled by OGILVY, which will continue to work on the creative. BBD Perfect Storm won the brief through its male marketing strategy unit New Macho, which will lead the project and challenges male stereotypes.

    Vodafone creates joyful film to Mark Ronson track to launch 5G

    VODAFONE has launched a one-minute-40-second film to promote its new 5G and unlimited data plans. Created by OGILVY, the ad shows a woman, and more than two dozen of her lookalikes, dancing through various settings including cinemas and coffee shops in a variety of red outfits. The sequence is set to the song Truth by Mark Ronson featuring Alicia Keys and The Last Artful, and the outfits were made by young designers from UK art schools. It sees the brand depart from its series of ads staring Martin Freeman as it looks to reposition itself as a modern tech brand following a revamp of its 400 stores, packaging, website and app. The campaign will also include a sponsorship of SPOTIFY’s Discover Now feature, plus cinema and OOH activity, and a second TV spot rolling out at the end of summer.
