Ogilvy recruits former Elle editor Jeffs to creative department
OGILVY & MATHER has appointed Lotte Jeffs, previously deputy editor of ELLE UK, to the role of creative director. Jeffs will be tasked with bringing editorial experience to the agency's campaigns, while continuing to write for magazines and newspapers. The agency has also appointed Dani Matthews as head of design. Both will report to chief creative officer Mick Mahoney.

Public Health England and Durex urge young people to wrap up for Christmas frolics
PUBLIC HEALTH ENGLAND has taken the festive season as an opportunity to remind youngsters to wrap up during sexual activity. In the first government sexual health campaign in eight years, the 'Protect against STIs, Use a Condom' film, created by OGILVY & MATHER, sees real young people discussing their experiences of contracting STIs but with their identity conceals by emojis. The work will run on social media included INSTAGRAM and Snapchat. DUREX, the Family Planning Association and the British Association for Sexual Health and HIV have all partnered with PHE for the push. The work aims to increase the use of condoms among 15-24 year olds.
