    Co-op Bank picks MullenLowe as ad agency

    THE CO-OPERATIVE BANK has named MULLENLOWE LONDON as its first advertising agency since splitting from THE CO-OPERATIVE GROUP last year. The bank launched a review last month through Murphy Cobb Associates. Incumbent LEO BURNETT repitched for the business but lost to MullenLowe in a competitive review. MullenLowe will be tasked with reinforcing the bank's ethical principals in marketing and repositioning its brand for the 21st century.
