Facebook launches UK ad campaign to promote privacy controls
FACEBOOK has launched a UK campaign to promote its privacy controls. It follows research by the social network that found half of all UK social media users worry about their privacy, the same percentage say they don't know how to control who sees their photos on the platform, and just a fifth know how to customise privacy settings. Created by POSSIBLE, the campaign includes a 30-second spot showing people with various levels of privacy on a beach. The work will run for 10 weeks across VoD, cinema, digital, press, and Facebook and INSTAGRAM Stories. MINDSHARE handled media for the campaign.
