    MC&C beats MediaCom to Comic Relief media account

    MC&C has won COMIC RELIEF's media account following a competitive pitch against MEDIACOM. The incumbent on the account was Rocket which recently merged into HEARTS & SCIENCE. The winning agency is tasked with making the event appeal to a younger audience, and using new technology and media platforms in the charity's fundraising efforts. Chief strategy officer Genevieve Tompkins will be the strategic lead for the business.

    MC&C hires Havas Media's Rik Moore following management reshuffle

    MC&C has appointed HAVAS MEDIA's head of strategy Rik Moore to the role of head of insight, strategy and planning. He will report to chief strategy officer Genevieve Tompkins and oversee the agency's planning framework. He will be focused on partnerships, including how the agency works with media owners, and creating new relationships with specialist agencies.
