Edgar the dragon dons Christmas jumper in Save the Children Channel 4 takeover
SAVE THE CHILDREN took over the CHANNEL FOUR ad break during Gogglebox on 6 December to promote Christmas Jumper Day on 13 December. The charity followed its regular Christmas Jumper Day ad with an ident featuring Myleene Klass and Dom Joly knitting their own Christmas jumpers. The ident was followed by ads from DURACELL, JOHN LEWIS & PARTNERS/WAITROSE & PARTNERS, M&S, MOONPIG and SMYTHS in which characters including Edgar the Dragon were wearing Christmas jumpers. The TV campaign is the result of a collaboration between 4Sales, MEDIACOM NORTH and Channel Four. MediaCom North secured press, print, social and outdoor activity from the METRO, EVENING STANDARD, TWITTER, Ocean Outdoor, SOCIAL CHAIN and SPOTIFY.

Carat Leeds on board for Great Rail Journeys media brief
GREAT RAIL JOURNEYS has named CARAT LEEDS as its media agency following a review handled by Creativebrief. MEDIACOM NORTH is the incumbent. The travel business is aiming to integrate and broaden its marketing activity as it looks to grow over the next three to five years. Carat will handle TV, print, digital, sponsorship idents, radio and OOH activity.
