    Aldi teases Christmas campaign with coke, carrots and a cliff-hanger

    ALDI has brought back its Kevin the Carrot character for its Christmas campaign. Kevin first appeared in the retailer's festive spot back in 2016 when he made a treacherous journey across a dinner table in an effort to meet Santa, then returned in 2017 in a Murder of the Orient Express-themed quest for love. Created by MCCANN, this year's ad sees Kevin driving a fairy-light-decorated red truck, suspiciously similar to the COCA-COLA Christmas truck, which veers off track and ends up teetering on the edge of a cliff. It is revealed that the truck's trailer contains a crate of fellow carrots which could slide out and fall into the abyss. The ad ends on a cliffhanger, with the hashtag '#SaveKevin' appearing on screen. UM MANCHESTER handled media planning and buying for the campaign.

    PHD Manchester behind CrossCountry tie in with Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip

    CROSSCOUNTRY will sponsor ITV show Road Trip with idents created by MCCANN MANCHESTER. PHD MEDIA and Drum brokered the deal. The idents will encourage ITV viewers to travel with CrossCountry.
