Flybe targets gender imbalance in aviation with launch of 'FlyShe' programme
FLYBE has announced the creation of a new 'FlyShe' programme. A series of initiatives aimed at re-balancing the gender gap in aviation will see women pilots and engineers visit schools, offer young women places on Flybe's engineer apprenticeship, and offer schools their own resources to run educational sessions about women in aviation. MCCANN BRISTOL created the programme and an accompanying website, flyshe.co.uk.

Flybe awards UK PR account to ad agency
FLYBE has appointed MCCANN BRISTOL to oversee its mainland PR account following a competitive pitch. The agency already works on the airline's advertising, media buying, production and social media. BEATTIE is the incumbent on the PR business. McCann will handle national, regional and trade press office support as well as a number of consumer campaigns to raise Flybe's profile and drive demand for its routes.
