    Gold trollies, safety deposit boxes and holidays: brands look to woo Rio medallists

    METRO BANK is offering Team GB medallists free safety deposit boxes in a stunt announced by its PR agency LANSONS COMMUNICATIONS. The bank isn’t the only brand looking to attach its name to Olympic glory, ASDA created a golden shopping trolley for star swimmer Adam Peaty. HAVAS PR helped create the novelty. BRITISH AIRWAYS, the official airline of Team GB, also helped to celebrate the team’s record medal count by transporting the team home in a gold-nosed plane.
