    Lansons acquires US agency Intermarket in first move abroad

    LANSONS has acquired a 51% stake in New York strategic comms consultancy Intermarket. The agency has been on the lookout for a New York base, as increasingly its international clients are headquartered in the US. Lansons plans to buy out the remaining equity in Intermarket over the next few years. It will rebrand to Intermarket Lansons this summer. Lansons is also looking to expand into Germany and Brussels in the mid-long term.

    Lansons wins Government-appointed PR brief for RBS £775m remedy package

    LANSONS has been appointed by the newly formed Banking Competition Remedies to handle its PR and media strategy. The BCR is an independent body set up by the government in 2017 to put in place THE ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND's £775m remedy package, which was part of an agreement made when the government bailed out RBS following the financial crisis.
