    Dentsu Aegis wins competitive pitch for Co-op

    CARAT has been handed THE CO-OP's consolidated £50m media planning and buying account following a review. The contract includes Co-op Group, Co-op Food, Co-op Insurance and Co-op Funeralcare. There is a possibility that at a later date the Co-op Electronics business will also be included. Client managing director Grant Burke will head up the accounts. Incumbent agency Rocket was merged into HEARTS & SCIENCE earlier this year by parent company Omnicom.

    The Co-operative Bank uses real customers to reinforce ethical message in latest campaign

    THE CO-OP BANK has released a new ad featuring some its customers as it attempts to reinforce its ethical brand proposition. The stars of the ad talk about why they use the The Co-op Bank, such as the fact that it puts money to good use and campaigns to make a difference. The campaign will run for five weeks through SKY ADSMART and YOUTUBE Premium, appearing on TV, programmatic video and social media along with sponsored ads. HEARTS & SCIENCE brokered media, and Standby Productions also worked on the campaign.
