Electronic Arts splits with Starcom and shortlists agencies for global media
ELECTRONIC ARTS has held pitches for its global media planning & buying account, ending its relationship with STARCOM. HEARTS & SCIENCE, M/SIX and HAVAS MEDIA pitched for the brand last month but EA has not made a decision on the winner yet. EA wants the winning agency to work on TV and out-of-home advertising, and will handle digital media in-house.

Co-operative Bank renews ethical creds via MullenLowe debut TV work
THE CO-OPERATIVE BANK is launching its first major campaign in nearly three years with a TV spot highlighting its ethical stance. In a 30-second spot created by MULLENLOWE, a woman wakes up to find their ceiling covered with post-it notes from people asking her for favours. The ad follows her as she carries out all the good deeds including making tea for all her colleagues, carrying a bike up several flights of stairs and buying scissors to use them to cut the ribbon at a community centre. The ad ends with the slogan: 'The Co-operative bank. For people with purpose'. The campaign launches on TV on Easter Sunday during The Durrells on ITV1, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins for SU2C on CHANNEL 4 and during the PREMIER LEAGUE match between EVERTON and MAN UNITED on SKY SPORTS. It will be supported by a multimedia campaign spanning on-demand, digital social and radio. HEARTS & SCIENCE handled media.
