Sainsbury’s restructures comms teams and seeks consumer agency to replace Golin
SAINSBURY’S has restructured its entire in-house comms function and severed ties with incumbent GOLIN, following its acquisition of Argos and Habitat, and the departure of comms chief Louise Evans. It is understood that the retailer will begin searching for a new agency to handle its consumer PR across its food and brand divisions in the coming weeks.

Golin hires for video demand
GOLIN has appointed Alex Purcell to a newly created creative director role in its in-house content studio. Purcell will focus on meeting what the agency says is growing client demand for video and animation. He previously worked for The Guardian.
