BT floods home with entertainment in 'Set Your Internet Free' campaign
BT has launched a multi-million pound ad campaign to show when the BT Smart Hub 2 and Wi-Fi Disc are paired, homes are permeated in connectivity. 'Set Your Internet Free' by AMV BBDO sees characters from movies, games and entertainment taking over homes, with the aim of showcasing how a stable Wi-Fi connection can help immerse people in their recreational activities during their downtime. The campaign debuted on 25 January during ITV's Granchester, CHANNEL FOUR's Jamie and Jimmy's Friday Night Feast and CHANNEL 5's Cruising with Jane McDonald. The campaign will run across TV, OOH, press, radio, digital and social. Media was handled by ESSENCE.

Essence names Tim Irwin as EMEA CEO
ESSENCE has promoted Tim Irwin, formerly its chief operating officer, to the role of chief executive officer, EMEA. He replaces Nick Baughan who recently became FACEBOOK's director of agency partnerships. Irwin will lead the agency's offices in the UK and Germany and will focus on expanding its reach into the Nordics, United Arab Emirates and France.
