    Carpetright picks Y&R London to 'refresh' creative

    CARPETRIGHT has handed its creative account to Y&R LONDON, splitting from incumbent DIFFERENT. Y&R has been tasked with developing a new direction for the retailer to distance itself from the type of discount-led sales performance positioning common in its sector. The creative strategy's aim will be to inspire consumers, change perceptions, increase consideration and solidify Carpetright’s status as the UK’s 'go-to' flooring retailer.

    Carpetright signs one-year deal to sponsor UKTV

    CARPETRIGHT has agreed a deal to sponsor UKTV for one year beginning 1 August. MEDIACOM and 4Sales brokered the deal. Idents by EVERYTHING DIFFERENT show brand ambassador and TV presenter Lucy Alexander sitting on the floor looking at different carpet samples and will be shown around Homes Under the Hammer and Diy SOS. The sponsorship will complement the brand’s national TV advertising, radio, digital and press activity.
