    THE SPECTATOR publisher has hired BURN to handle its direct marketing business.

    BURN, a new integrated start-up, is due to launch on 5 November. Former Black Cat managing partner Julie Cheetham and former Black Cat board director Guy McConnell will head the agency, which specialises in response advertising. The agency opens with several clients including Reed Exhibitions, Zopa (a financial exchange brand) and One (a not-for-profit water brand).
