Lurpak unveils 'butter-themed' Christmas tree
LURPAK has created a 26ft Christmas tree made from 500 blocks on Lurpak and is taking it on a tour of major UK cities. Passing shoppers will have the chance to sample several festive dishes, all created using Lurpak, including mince pies and a chocolate yule log. BD NETWORK created the tour which kicked off on 17 November at Birmingham Bullring, Westfield London on 24-26 November and Leeds Briggate on 1-3 December. It will appear at Edinburgh's Castle Street from 8-10 December before finishing at Covent Garden in London on the 15-17 December.

Valenstein & Fatt poaches Lee Barber from BD Network to reboot activation proposition
VALENSTEIN & FATT has hired Lee Barber, chief strategy and creative officer at BD NETWORK, as planning director, GreyShopper. Barber will work to make activation more central to marketing strategies within shopper marketing.
