Mentos Makes a Big Deal about Small Talk
MENTOS has launched a new campaign to help get people talking in the real world. BBH LONDON created a 60-second ad featuring two adults standing awkwardly in silence. However, once they have a Mentos gum, it inspires them to make small talk and make a connection. The campaign builds on the insight that the brand's audience, 18 to 35 year olds, can find it hard to have a conversation with someone new and need a little boost of confidence to help them take the first step.

Samsung launches phones into space for 'selfies' campaign
SAMSUNG is launching two of its Galaxy 10 smartphones into the edge of space as part of its new brand campaign to encourage people to create their own 'space selfie'. Created by BBH LONDON, the social media and digital campaign aims to show love for the brand and show its commitment to innovation and coincides with the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. The phones will receive selfies from people transmitted from Earth and layer them over real-time shots of the planet, creating a bespoke and limited-edition 'space selfie'. Model and actress Cara Delevingne will be the first person to have her selfie into space, while footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic will follow as the first athlete. The service launches on 23 October and runs until 31 October. There is no above-the-line advertising to promote the campaign, with all activity on social media and digital channels. FLEISHMANHILLARD is driving earned media and influencer activation, with STARCOM supporting paid media.
