    Arla in-houses creative and media but promises there's still room for agencies

    ARLA has appointed ACCENTURE INTERACTIVE and KARMARAMA as its lead global digital agency while also bringing its media and creative business in-house. Named 'The Barn', the in-house team will based close to Arla's head office in Sønderhøj, Denmark and is being led by global head of digital marketing and innovation Thomas Heilskov. Over the next 12 months Heilskov wants it to expand into the UK and Dubai. For the time being The Barn will only handle Arla's biggest brands: Lurpak, Castello and Anchor. WIEDEN & KENNEDY currently handles the global Lurpak advertising account, MOTHER and LEO BURNETT manage creative and digital respectively for Castello and WCRS handles the Anchor creative. CARAT handles media for the entire group of brands.

    Accenture ramps up programmatic offering with Adaptly buy

    ACCENTURE INTERACTIVE has acquired adtech company Adaptly in order to bolster the credentials of its programmatic division. The acquisition will give Accenture access to offices in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and London, a client roster including MAZDA and PRUDENTIAL, and its 150 programmatic staff.
