    Payments group Worldpay to be acquired by US rival in $43bn deal

    WORLDPAY is set to to be acquired by Fidelity National Information Services in a £32.5bn deal. The Florida-based payment provider, chaired by Gary Norcross, planned the acquisition following the rise of online and card payments. The latest deal resulted in Worldpay shares rising 10.4% to £82.28 on 18 March.

    Worldpay examines agency needs ahead of global RFP

    WORLDPAY is examining its agency requirements before issuing a global request for proposals later this year. The company currently works with a number of agencies for corporate and marketing communications globally including GOLIN in the UK and EDELMAN in the US. The RFP is unlikely to be issued until the second half of 2019.
