    Magners campaign tells shoppers to think like an Irish

    MAGNERS has launched its new campaign, encouraging people to 'Think 100% Irish' and see the silver lining in any situation. The campaign has kicked off with a series of targeted online ads which use every day observations and relatable situations to ask how you could adopt the Irish outlook of life. The ads show a Magners pint glass half full with text at the bottom and top of the glass, one saying you might have a boring office job, but at least you get paid to scroll FACEBOOK. The campaign will be rolled out to include reactive stunts, experiential and festival activations over the coming months.

    Magners Cider owner C&C Group confirms bid to buy Conviviality brands Matthew Clark and Bibendum

    C&C GROUP has announced it is looking to acquire two brands from CONVIVIALITY. The Magners owner, with the help of AB INBEV, is hoping to take on Matthew Clark and Bibendum, plus subsidiary brands Catalyst, Peppermint, Elastic, and Walker & Wodehouse. Conviviality confirmed it will be appointing administrators last week. Chinese private equity firm ZQ Capital and MOLSON COORS have also expressed interest in buying the struggling business.
