    Cadbury Announces its Second Year of their 'Secret Santa' Campaign

    CADBURY has launched its Secret Santa campaign for the second year, celebrating the ritual of giving gifts to a loved one. This year it's encouraging the audience to give the gift or a Cadbury's chocolate bar. The campaign began with 20-second TV ads on 9 November with support from digital, experiential and PR activations. The work was created by VCCP. Additionally, bespoke pop-up stores and a postal service will be available at HOUSE OF FRASER, WH SMITH Post Offices, AMAZON and TESCO.

    WHSmith ramps up overseas drive with $400m US deal

    WHSMITH is acquiring Marshall Retail Group for £312m ($400m). The deal aims to increase its presence in the travel and airports market in the US. The acquisition of the Las Vegas-based firm will add 170 new locations, including 59 at airports. It will be funded through a combination of new debt and equity.
