    Travelodge plans 100 new hotels by 2024

    TRAVELODGE is planning to open 100 hotels by 2024. The budget hotel chain is looking to challenge PREMIER INN by opening in more city centres and near conference venues. 10 of the 100 planned hotels will be part of a £100m investment in hotels near UK event sites.

    London Paddington set to welcome dual-brand hotel complex

    PREMIER INN and Staycity Group are expected to be tenants of a 620-room hotel and aparthotel complex as part of the regeneration of London's Paddington. Under the terms of the deal, Premier Inn and Staycity will each take 30-year leases on five yearly inflation-linked rent reviews, operating independently with 60 and 40 per cent of the rooms respectively. The hotel and complex is expected to open by 2021.
