    Hotpoint brings food-waste initiative to pop-up cafe

    HOTPOINT is creating a pop-up cafe putting leftover food to use in the hopes of tackling food waste. It will show visitors how leftovers can be turned into a tasty new meal. XYZ created the activation, which will take place in London on 10-11 October.

    Andrex, Wilkinson and Durex among first brands to get on board with Amazon Dash

    AMAZON has launched its Amazon Dash service in the UK. The scheme will see customers purchase a branded plastic button for £4.99, that can be attached to a relevant place in the home, and enables them re-order a branded household product, when necessary, at the press of a button. Amazon is also in talks with manufacturers including SAMSUNG, WHIRLPOOL and BSH HOME APPLIANCES, with the idea in mind to incorporate the buttons directly into household appliances. The first brands to get on board for branded buttons include those of RECKITT BENCKISER, KIMBERLY-CLARK, PROCTER AND GAMBLE, MARS PETCARE, JOHNSON & JOHNSON, HASBRO and NESTLE.
