    Vue enlists Simon Pegg for heartfelt ode to the healing power of cinema

    VUE has teamed up with actor Simon Pegg and charity MediCinema for a new campaign highlighting the healing power of film. The ad features 4-year-old Sienna Dell who suffers from a birth defect and several heart conditions who finds escape in cinema. It will be shown at all 86 Vue cinemas in the UK with customers given the option to donate 50p to MediCinema when purchasing tickets.

    EE launches new 'Who says you can't?' brand platform

    EE has announced the creation of a new brand communications platform called 'Who says you can't?'. The plans to position itself as more than a mobile brand have kicked off with a new campaign created by SAATCHI & SAATCHI highlighting how EE customers can share mobile data. Media buying was handled by ESSENCE. Two more ads will be rolled out this year, also focusing on the different services offered by EE and using digital platforms to target consumers alongside traditional TV and OOH advertising. EE has also inked a 3 month sponsorship deal with VUE which will see the brand appear on its family tickets.
