    RBS trials biometric fingerprint bank card

    RBS is to trial a biometric bank card which will allow customers to verify purchases using their fingerprint for transactions of more than £30. The technology would increase security and make payments at tills more convenient. The trial will being in April and last three months. RBS is working with digital security company Gemalto, VISA and MASTERCARD on the project.

    Visa, matching men's World Cup marketing spend, unveils female footballer roster

    VISA has announced its women's football team featuring players that it says live by its standards of 'acceptance, inclusion and innovation'. The team includes England defender Lucy Bronze, England forward Nikita Parris, and  Scotland midfielder Kim Little. Visa will also match its marketing investment in the FIFA Women's World Cup with that of the Fifa Men's World Cup last year.
