    Fashion brands get behind International Women’s Day

    NET-A-PORTER, FOSSIL and BAUKJEN were amongst the brands celebrating International Women's Day on 8 March. Net-A-Porter partnered with Women for Women International for the launch of 20 exclusive T-shirts designed by female designers. 100% of the proceeds is being donated to the charity. Fossil teamed up with Bijou Karman on a capsule collection featuring the artist's colourful illustrations inspired by unique women from around the world. Baukjen partnered with UK charity Woman's Trust to launch their 'Lilou' charity T-shirt, featuring the slogan 'Solidarity', that reflects the work of Woman's Trust to support and empower women. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Woman's Trust. PANDORA hosted a charitable concert on 7 March to help raise money for UNICEF. THE NORTH FACE launched an all-female designed and manufactured collection that marks the very first line produced by a new all-female factory in Jordan. RIVER ISLAND designed four slogan T-shirts to raise money for Women Supporting Women, with five pounds of each sale being donated to THE PRINCE'S TRUST.

    Timberland offers tips on sustainability via workshops

    TIMBERLAND is holding workshops to help consumers live more sustainably. Led by Urban Growth, the events, taking place in January and February at the brand's Carnaby Street concept store, will provide tips on growing plants from food scraps, the basics of propagating, reducing plastic use, composting and seed saving.
