    U.N. unveils phase two of World Food Program cinema effort

    THE U.N WORLD FOOD PROGRAM has launched the second stage of its cinema campaign. Created by Sir John Hegarty and The Garage Soho, the 60-second spot highlights the fact that every year 3 million children die of hunger. The black-and-white ad sees poverty-stricken children singing before disappearing into thin air.

    The U.N.'s World Food Program turns to global cinemas to help end hunger

    THE UN has kicked off a new campaign to help end world hunger. An ad will air in cinemas in more than 25 countries, and introduces a different brand strategy. Rather than featuring images of starving children, the campaign focuses on the potential that is lost when children die from malnourishment. The UN also hopes that global advertising will raise awareness of the brand. A mobile app called ShareTheMeal has been created to support the 60-second spot.
