    Gambling firms agree 'whistle-to-whistle' television sport advertising ban

    BET365, LADBROKES and PADDY POWER are among several gambling brands which have voluntarily agreed to introduce a ban on television advertising during live sports. The Remote Gambling Association agreed a deal with the betting firms which also included SKYBET, BETFRED, BETFAIR, UNIBET, CORAL and WILLIAM HILL to ensure that no adverts will be broadcast for a defined period before and after a game. The deal follows political pressure about the amount of betting ads on TV, as more than 90 minutes of adverts were shown during the football World Cup. Horse Racing will be exempt from the restrictions but all other sports will be included.

    Aston Villa gamble again on 32Red

    32RED has been confirmed as the new kit sponsor of Aston Villa Football Club. The logo of the online betting company will appear of the front of Aston Villa's home and away kits. 32Red previously were kit sponsors of The Villains between 2006 and 2008. 17/18 kit sponsors UNIBET will continue its association with the club with branding on the training kit. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest has announced a shirt sponsorship deal with BETBRIGHT, Oxford United has signed a two-year shirt sponsorship deal with SINGHA BEER and Bradford City has signed a two-year training and travel wear sponsorship deal with Yorkshire Payments.
