    Guardian poised for Trinity Mirror print deal for new tabloid format

    THE GUARDIAN is switching from its distinctive Berliner format to a tabloid format as part of the company’s three-year cost-cutting programme as it tries to reverse operating losses of £38m in the previous financial year. A printing deal for the paper to switch to smaller print has reportedly been agreed with TRINITY MIRROR.

    Hollinshead returns as Trinity Mirror parts company with regional boss

    TRINITY MIRROR'S managing director for regionals, Rachel Addison, is to step down. A review of the publisher's regionals will be held by Hollicom, a new communications agency launched by former Trinity Mirror chief operating officer, Mark Hollinshead, who recently departed his role as chief executive of NOVA INTERNATIONAL
