    TRAVIS PERKINS’ consumer arm, made up mostly by WICKES, has reported further sales growth in its first quarter of 8.7%. It reported a like for like sales growth of 6% and its two year like for like sales growth was 13.3%. Its full year profit has increased by 22.7% to £77m, from £63m in 2013, while its revenue grew 8.8% to £1.3bn and its like for like sales grew 7.3% for the year ending December 2014. Wickes has been making improvements to its value and branded ranges, promotions and customer services and releasing a new website and click and collect service. The company has also announced there are to be 4,000 new jobs over the next four years.
