    Saint Lucia Tourism Authority launches winter campaign in UK

    SAINT LUCIA TOURISM AUTHORITY has kicked off its winter campaign, suggesting 'there's no time like now to book'. The work, running until the end of October, includes a dedicated offers landing page encouraging sunseekers to book through agents such as TRAILFINDERS, BEST AT TRAVEL, KENWOOD, LETSGO2 and ITC. The deals will be supported by a consumer and trade ad campaign including press spots in THE TIMES, TELEGRAPH, METRO and EVENING STANDARD; digital takeovers in the Times and Telegraph; and ads in lifestyle magazines across wedding, diving, birding, yachting and diaspora.

    Murdoch gets green light for merger of the Times and the Sunday Times

    THE TIMES and The Sunday Times are to merge parts of their operations following approval from the government. NEWS UK is to share resources between the two titles as it looks to adapt to shifts in the media industry. It is unclear whether there will be job losses as a result. Despite sharing journalists, the two papers will remain separate with individual editors.
