    Hard-hitting public awareness campaign draws attention to illegal puppy farming

    THE SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT has unveiled a public awareness campaign about the practice of puppy farming. Narrated by a small child, the ad is told from the perspective of a puppy who has been bred illegally and is bought by a woman who doesn't know the signs of farming. The spot ends by telling viewers not to buy a puppy without papers or its mother. THE LEITH AGENCY created the cinema ad in conjunction with the SCOTTISH SPCA.

    £6m 'Scotland is Now' campaign champions the country's openness

    THE SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT and VISITSCOTLAND has teamed up with Scottish Development International and Universities Scotland to reposition the country on the world stage under a new national brand - 'Scotland Is Now'. A 60-second ad was released focusing on the beauty of the country, success of its sport stars and its willingness to embrace ideas and people from all corners of the globe. The £6m campaign launched simultaneously in New York, San Francisco, China, London and Glasgow.
