    The Open University issues tender for consumer PR brief held by Lexis

    THE OPEN UNIVERSITY has issued a tender for a consumer PR agency to help with campaigns. The selected agency will take up the three year contract in December and will promote the university using national and regional press, consumer magazines, radio,TV, and online. Lexis, which recently merged into TEXT100, holds the account and is expected to repitch.

    Open University launches six-month marketing partnership with Channel 4

    OPEN UNIVERSITY has teamed up with CHANNEL FOUR for a new marketing partnership. THE OUTFIT has created three spots for the campaign which feature OU students sharing their success stories in a interview set up in Channel Four's token 'fixed rig' style. The ads also include Channel Four's logo in Open University colours. 30-second launch spots will debut during Channel Four's The Last Leg, with the ads also rolling out in 60-second lengths and additional cut-downs. Channel 4 faces including presenters Matt Edmondson and Amanda Fox will bolster the campaign on social media and a supporting joint-panel event will take place in September. The content partnership was brokered by MEDIACOM
