    London & Partners shifts focus to include domestic tourism

    LONDON & PARTNERS, the official promotional agency for the mayor of London, has revealed plans to drive tourism from within the UK. Visits to the capital from abroad have increased over the last five years, but domestic travelers have been coming to London less and less in the same period. London & Partners hopes to arrest this decline by creating the new Domestic Tourism Consortium, an industry-led body. The Mayor of London is investing £600,000 into the project. Companies including NEW WEST END COMPANY, SHAFTESBURY and TRANSPORT FOR LONDON are part of the consortium.
