National Trust and Bompas & Parr use a red cone to help protect London views

THE NATIONAL TRUST has teamed up with Bompas & Parr to create a large red cone at the Honiman Museum and Gardens which allows users to peer through and see what the view from the South London site could look like in 80 years' time. Visitors can turn a dial while looking through the telescope which will superimpose artworks onto the real view of the city. The 'Imminent Diorama' exhibition will include work from artists, architects and illustrators including Duncan Catterall, Carl Turner Architects and David Bray. The public is being asked to voice their opinion on the view in preparation to respond to the Mayor of London's London Plan.
