    National Trust to keep outdoor sites open

    THE NATIONAL TRUST has announced it will keep its open places accessible to the public free of charge during the coronavirus pandemic. It will, however, close its houses, shops and cafe. It has more than 200 outdoor locations across the UK. ENGLISH HERITAGE has also confirmed its free-to-enter spaces will remain open but the rest of its properties will be shut until 1 May, unless the situation changes.

    Barbour and National Trust highlight conservation issues

    BARBOUR has teamed up with the NATIONAL TRUST for a series of talks on conservation. Taking place at the flagship JOHN LEWIS store on London's Oxford Street, the 30-minute talks will focus on places, wildlife and caring for the environment, ending with a Q&A session. It runs across the 1st and 2nd as well as 7th and 8th March.
