    Premier League and British football shuts down until April due to coronavirus

    THE PREMIER LEAGUE, THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE and the Women's Super League have suspended all matches until April in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The news follows the reveal that several Premier League clubs have members of staff, players and coaches displaying symptoms of the virus. The Scottish FA has suspended all football until further notice. THE FA announced that the two England friendlies due to played at the end of March have been called off. UEFA has postponed all fixtures in the Champions League and Europa League to an unspecified date, and is in discussing about the possible postponement of Euro 2020.
