    Children's Society sells stab vests in unsettling pop-up

    THE CHILDREN'S SOCIETY has launched a pop-up selling stab-vests for children in London's Baker Street. 'The Story of Modern Childhood' activation aims to raise awareness of poverty, knife crime and bullying in Britain. The pop-up also includes a Grooma station, exercise books full of self-hate, phone cases with bullying messages, and a make-up station selling bruise-hider, anxiety concealer and black-eye fader. Visitors can then head through a 'changing room' into a positive area full of light, colour, art, poetry and music. XYZ and W COMMUNICATIONS are delivering the event which runs from 28-29 August.

    New chief executive for the Children's Society

    THE CHILDREN'S SOCIETY has appointed Mark Russell to the role of chief executive. He joins in August from his role as chief executive at Church Army, filling the position left by Matthew Reed.
