    WHSmith excludes Daily Telegraph from shops at railway stations

    WHSMITH has removed copies of THE DAILY TELEGRAPH from 120 train station outlets. The moves follows The Telegraph hiking the price of its daily and Sunday edition by almost a quarter, but not increasing the amount paid to retailers by the same percentage.

    WHSmith moves Daily Telegraph from ‘news’ to ‘magazine’ section of stores

    THE DAILY TELEGRAPH and Sunday Telegraph have been moved from the 'news' to 'magazine' section of WHSMITH stores after a commercial dispute. The retailer's decision was reportedly made in order to increase pressure on the paper in a commercial negotiation.
